Research has shown that the natural chemical found in Wintergreen, methyl salicylate, affords anti-inflammatory properties that are highly effective for arthritis, dermatitis, headache, migraines, joint-pain, rheumatism, lower back pain, cramping, muscle aches and skin disorders (Synthetic versions of methyl salicylate are found in OTC muscle-ache creams). Wintergreen is also antiseptic and anti-microbial.
dōTERRA has voluntarily chosen to have all caps for Wintergreen products to be child-resistant. This is good, as it may smell like candy to children, but it is very strong!
